We begin with a transfer from your guesthouse to the Port of Santo Amaro, where we board a speed boat for a 15-minute scenic cruise along Lago da Jangada, a beautiful tributary of the Rio Alegre. Once we arrive, you will have free time to swim and capture stunning photos. Important Note: As there are no rest areas or natural shade at this lagoon, high-factor sunscreen and sun-protective clothing are essential. After enjoying the waters, we trek back to the boat for our return to Santo Amaro.

Our destination is the breathtaking Lagoa das Emendadas, where you will have free time to swim and experience the absolute silence of the desert. After witnessing a legendary sunset from the top of the dunes, we begin our 40-minute walk back to the vehicle, guided by the light of a starlit sky. Important: There are no support points or shade at this location; high-factor sunscreen and sun-protective clothing are mandatory.

In the afternoon, we return to the National Park to discover more local gems, such as Lagoa do Cajueirinho, ending the day with a perfect stop to witness the sunset over the dunes.

After a relaxing break, we journey to the magnificent Lagoa do Reflexo (Mirror Lagoon), one of the largest and most breathtaking in the region. Enjoy free time for swimming and photography in its vast waters, concluding the day with a sunset view before returning to Santo Amaro.

Povoado Travosa Coletoras de Sarnambi

Step back into the charm of 1970s coastal Brazil with a visit to Travosa, an authentic fishing and shellfish-gathering village located at the western tip of the National Park. We begin by enjoying the pristine beach, where you can watch local fishermen in their daily traditional routines along the shore.
The journey continues through well-preserved landscapes until we reach the village. Here, we will follow the tide to meet the Sarnambi (shellfish) gatherers, listening to their stories and witnessing their ancestral craft. Along the way, keep an eye out for capuchin monkeys, scarlet ibises, and herons. For lunch (not included), we highly recommend the freshly made “Cocada na Telha” (coconut sweet served on a clay tile) for dessert. We conclude the day with a refreshing swim in the lagoons and a sunset view before returning to Santo Amaro.
