Marcelino & Tapuio: Cultural Nautical Tour

We navigate the river toward the village of Tapuio to visit the Casa de Farinha (Flour House). Here, you will experience the traditional production of Farinha D’água (cassava flour) by Mr. Zequinha David’s riverside family—from the harvesting of the cassava to the tasting of the final product.
After this cultural immersion, we continue along the Preguiças River to the village of Marcelino. There, you will meet local artisans who craft beautiful bags, hats, and clothing using fibers from the Buriti palm. Following the visit to the handicraft center, we return to the nearest port in Barreirinhas.
