Preguiças River – Luxury Speedboat

Board our speedboat at the Beira Rio port as we navigate the Preguiças River toward our first stop: Vassouras (Pequenos Lençóis). Enjoy free time to observe the capuchin monkeys that inhabit the mangroves next to the beach (Please do not feed the monkeys). Santo Amaro Circuit: Lagoa do Junco + Povoado Betânia & Rio Alegre

This tour is designed for those staying in Barreirinhas who wish to experience the unique beauty of Santo Amaro. The journey starts with a 96 km drive (approx. 1h30). Upon arrival at the municipal parking lot, we switch to a 4×4 vehicle and head toward Lagoa do Junco. A significant portion of this trail is driven directly over the dunes, offering stunning landscapes due to the town’s proximity to the National Park entrance. You will have free time for swimming and photography at the lagoon.
We then continue by 4×4 to meet a local boat, commonly known as a “Rabeta” (available during the high-water season), for a scenic boat ride along the Alegre River to the Betânia Village. There, we stop for lunch (not included), followed by rest in traditional hammocks and free time to swim in the warm waters of the river. In the afternoon, we visit additional lagoons for more swimming before returning to Santo Amaro to catch our transport back to Barreirinhas.

After this cultural immersion, we continue along the Preguiças River to the village of Marcelino. There, you will meet local artisans who craft beautiful bags, hats, and clothing using fibers from the Buriti palm. Following the visit to the handicraft center, we return to the nearest port in Barreirinhas.

The adventure begins with a transfer from your hotel to the training site. We will conduct a safety briefing and a practical demonstration on the ATVs (quad bikes) before starting the tour. Once the training is complete, we head out with a local guide through the Small Lençóis (Pequenos Lençóis).
The route takes us across majestic dunes and past lagoon formations with stops for swimming. We will also ride along the sands of Caburé Beach until we reach the local restaurants, where you will have free time for lunch (not included) and to enjoy the surroundings. After a period of rest, we head back to Barreirinhas.
